See where you’re listed online – and remove yourself.

Ratsit, Merinfo, MrKoll, Hitta and other Swedish sites show the address, age and much more about almost everyone in Sweden. We show where you’re listed and how to get removed, site by site.

Takes about 20 minutes

The name you type stays in your browser. No login, no cookies, no ads.

You do it yourself

With BankID on the site’s own page, or with a ready-made email from your own account.

Reminders

Some sites only hide you for a while. Add reminders to your calendar.

How it works

Good to know

Still in official records

You’re hidden on the sites, but anyone can still request your address from the Swedish Tax Agency.

Some only hide you for a while

MrKoll hides your address for 30 days. We show what applies on each site.

The rules are changing

In July 2026 the EU Court ruled that a publishing certificate alone doesn’t exempt a site from the GDPR.

How the law affects you

Questions

Does it cost anything?

No. Kolla själv is free and ad-free, and the sites’ own ways of hiding you are free too. Never pay to be removed. RaderaNamn, for example, charges 499 kr for something you can do yourself.

Why don’t I need to log in?

We don’t need to know who you are. Everything you type stays in your browser. When a site requires BankID, you do it on that site’s own page, never with us.

Will I disappear from the internet?

No. You’re hidden on the sites you go through, but the data remains with authorities such as the Tax Agency. If you need real protection, for example because of threats, read about protected personal data under Tips.

How long does it last?

It varies. MrKoll hides your address for 30 days, while Ratsit, Merinfo and Eniro remove you until further notice. Data can also come back when you move, so add reminders.

Can the sites say no?

Yes. Most say the GDPR doesn’t apply to them. After the EU Court’s ruling in July 2026 they stand on weaker ground, but the question isn’t settled. Keep their replies.

Does it work without BankID?

Partly. Several sites accept email or letters instead. We show how for each site.
